Rare Blood The texture of these tracks - all of them - is something else. The depth of the sound, the electricity, the static and the musicality. Raw but sophisticated. I have picked Fixation as favourite track for its stature but could have picked many others: I love the space of Contact Forest and the beauty of Vigil. An absolute stunner of an album. Favorite track: Fixation.

Jon Spyne This album is moody, crisp and introspective. A perfect listen to be taking in during the final and darkest days of 2022.

10/10 Favorite track: Rules of Return.

about

“In the open wilds beyond our horizons, a darkened obelisk consumes the surroundings. It’s brooding shadow is familiar to all who walk the land. It is still, silent and unmoving"

Rise is my 3rd studio album. The tracks were recorded from late 2021 right up to September of 2022. Alongside writing the music primarily with modular synths and recorded voices (including my own), this album also features experimental contact microphone instruments as textures and drums throughout the album and some string recordings too.

I had visions of journeying through a vast forest and emerging into a desolate landscape dominated by a towering obelisk as featured on the front cover. As always, I lost myself for months writing this album, in the best way possible, now I want to share it with my audience.

Thank you for the ongoing support, it means so much to me.
